New Debian upstream version 2.5.3 has support for partial/full purging.

Describe the solution you'd like
Switch from current 2.3 to forked 2.5.3 version of libnginx-mod-http-cache-purge. Debian nginx-team has already switched to this fork. Previously #1966.

That's just because you insist on including a bunch of Unofficial modules from unreliable sources. This module, in particular, is a feature included in Nginx Plus (the paid version of Nginx). It's not the most ethical decision to include this package from a third party just for people who don't want to pay for it.

And don't take me wrong, I really appreciate all the work you're doing here every day!

  2. I am not really insisting. I would be a happy bee if I just stopped packaging nginx completely.
