When installing a new opam version using the installation script, a proper backup is performed only in certain cases (for instance when upgrading from opam 1 to opam 2), but the message Run this script again with '--restore ***' to revert. is always printed.

This leads to this confusing situation. If I tried to apply the suggestion of the script, I get No backup of opam *** was found.
