First off, I wanna thank you for the awesome web-clipper; I’m really enjoying testing it out and making templates for the sites I visit the most to grab notes.
I usually use underscores to format italics in markdown instead of asterisks, so I wanted to suggest a feature, if it’s simple to add (if it’s a big deal right now, no worries, you can totally save it for a better time): could you add an option in the web-clipper settings for users to choose which characters to use for markdown formatting? 🤔
As an example, here’s a screenshot of the settings from MarkDownload, the web-clipper I’ve been using for years, which offers the option to choose characters in its settings:
