I'm back again with some free time to once again try and get this to work on the boars Clarion MD6 headunit.
I had a question I wondered if you would have time to test for me... being that raspbian bullseye is now compatible with both the zero most if not all raspberry pi variants - I wondered if you would be able to do an install of your ipod software with that os as the base test it working for yourself (Being its your project, you'd know for sure if it was working as expected) and from there create an image file of the pi's sd card that I could then attempt to deploy onto my own pi zero 2w.
The reason I ask for this route, is I simply cannot seem to work out where things are failing.... And being the head unit does nothing but tell me reading usb - and even with swap_configs enabled - and setting the apple_id (not the correct configstring I know) to be that of an ipod nano 5th gen which the cmd6 supports - Still get no joy.
If this is too much of an ask I totally understand, and I also understand this isn't an issue with the software so feel free to close this off (I couldn't find any other way to get in contact with you to try and progress forward with advancing things).
Hope this message finds you well.
Cheers
James
