Cost Analysis

Overview

We tag all assets with organization, stack, environment, and block.
This provides granular cost analysis in the AWS console, assuming three things:

• A user has access to the billing account
• Tag-based costing is enabled before usage
• A user can understand how to navigate the reporting feature

Instead, we can provide cost analysis reports on each stack, environment, and block section.

How will it work?

We will add a reporting section on the Stack, Environment, and Block sections where users can view usage costs.
For an initial implementation, each report will allow a user to view with day granularity, but through various time windows. (e.g. past 7 days, past 30 days, custom range)
