Serif 'g' in Noto Sans CJK #160

The 'g' from Noto Serif is in Noto Sans CJK.

This is a non-issue.

To clarify, the Western portion of Noto Sans CJK is derived from Source Sans Pro. Google devices use Noto Sans CJK as part of a fallback chain whereby Roboto, not Noto, is at the head, and glyphs from Noto Sans CJK are used only if Roboto doesn't support them, such as the thousands of CJK glyphs.

Ok. In that case, I'll merge them in a custom font for my project - never done that so I hope it's straight-forward.
