If you have such issue with Swiper 7, it means your bundler/environment/framework/tooling doesn't support ESM packages. You should update your bundler/environment/framework/tooling or stay on Swiper 6.

You can check this guide about using pure ESM packages.

If you use it with Create React App (or similar env without ES modules support), there is a workaround that might help https://swiperjs.com/react#usage-with-create-react-app
