  • Version:8.x~9.x
  • Platform:Mac OS high sierra

Nice to meet you.

I installed the node.js for mac from official site pkg a while ago.
However, after that the uninstall method of pkg edition couldn't find on the official site.
I asked in the GitHub node.js help forum and successfully uninstalled pkg edition.

But because it's hard, The pkg uninstall method might want to write on the official site.
And, It's good to put a node.js in the application in the finder(mac).
That way node.js will be more kind to many peoples.

I'm Japanese so I can't very well English.
Sorry, artificial English.
Thank you.

you might want to bring this issue up with the pkg people (https://github.com/zeit/pkg), its not strictly node related.

@devsnek I think the request is about the macOS installer (which has the .pkg extension)

I think the OP is requesting that we document how to uninstall Node.js binaries installed using .pkg in our releases? cc @nodejs/platform-macos

We already have an overarching issue tracking Node.js uninstallation so I will close this for now. If anyone thinks it should stay open, we can revisit.
