Fork, Commit, Merge - Easy Issue 1 (Python)

Simple Python Program to Interact with Lists

Note: You don't have ask permission to start solving the issue or get assigned, since these issues are supposed to be always open for new contributors. The actions-user bot will reset the file back to previous state for the next contributor after your commit is merged. So you can just simply start working with the issue right away!

How to get started

Start by opening the tasks/python/easy directory from the root of the project.
Then open number_list.py file and start working on your solution!

Description

The aim of this task is to create a Python script that creates a list of numbers and performs simple operations on it. Specifically, the program should create a list of the first 10 natural numbers (1 through 10), print the list and print the sum of the numbers in the list.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • The program should create a list of the first 10 natural numbers.
  • The program should print the created list to the console.
  • The program should print the sum of the numbers in the list.

Hint: You can use Python's built-in sum function to calculate the sum of numbers in a list.

How to run

To test the program, you can run python3 tasks/python/easy/number_list.py to see if it works as expected.
