Thank you for the question. It means that server returned non-json response (might've been some custom error response). I opened an issue (#107) regarding unclear error handling.

Is it possible for you to provide additional details about the issue? I guess that due to time that passed since the issue was opened, you likely don't even have the original target URL.

If you are unable or don't want to provide additional details, then I suggest that we may close this issue to clear a backlog.
