These aren’t currently the easiest to actually use - users would need to copy the templates and the CSS from GitHub or by viewing source in the page.
The pages are also quite hard to maintain as we’ll need to spot when the NHS.UK website gets updated and then manually copy across any changed CSS, images or HTML.
However the templates could be useful for anyone prototyping NHS.UK itself, or prototyping a service journey where users start from NHS.UK.
Options could be:
make the templates easier to use by including them within an iframe and having buttons for copying the HTML (and CSS?)
moving the templates into a separate repo managed by the NHS.UK website team?
replacing the templates with a guide for how to mock up NHS.UK website pages by copying and pasting the HTML and CSS from the live website instead (eg using "View Source" and browser tools)
We currently have some example NHS.UK page templates on the prototype kit documentation website at https://prototype-kit.service-manual.nhs.uk/page-templates
