Rather than make a new issue for Q4 blog posts, I'm going to convert this into a long-lived meta-issue to track blog post ideas (and hopefully, actual posts...)

As discussed in the Q3 planning meeting, it would be awesome if everybody on the Nextstrain software team could write at least one blog post during Q3.

This is a meta-issue to track blog post ideas, and blog post writing.

Draft section on augur filter improvements:

The Filtering and Subsampling guide has been updated with an improved overview of all the different options available with augur filter. This includes support for weighted sampling introduced in Augur 25.3.0.

Can this be closed in favor of Slack which is better suited for continual drops of new ideas and discussion? It's already happening in #nextstrain-blog, #nextstrain-dev, #nextstrain-general, #oropouche, etc.

I'll close this issue out; I still think we want to have issues tracking blog posts that are being actively written (for example), just like we want issues tracking all active/ongoing work.
