A dashboard for tags management:

• A dedicated dashboard within Umbraco's Backoffice designed for comprehensive tags management.
• Features of the dashboard would include:
  • The ability to search for content or media by tags, improving discoverability and management of tagged items.
  • Tools to edit existing tags, allowing for correction of casing, spacing, or even complete renaming, which can help maintain consistency and accuracy in tag usage.
  • The capability to assign new tags to content/media in bulk or remove tags from multiple items simultaneously, enhancing efficiency in content management.
  • The Tags Dashboard provides a secure environment for tag creation, with the option to add new tags directly from the dashboard. This ability can be restricted to specific users or user groups based on permissions, ensuring controlled and authorized tag creation.

I know community packages attempting to solve this problem already exist.
