I think this is a good idea...

Any thoughts about not using LibreOffice as a conversion facility and replacing it with say a script? I have a script that runs nightly that converts a limited number of files from a specific directory to PDF then it converts the file(s) to PDF/a for retention purposes.

less comfortably you could achieve this using https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/workflow_script for now

The,possibility was mentioned here #7 (comment), too, however pull requests will make it work soonest.
