Unable to change forgotten password #8356

Steps to reproduce

  1. Press "forgot password" in login screen
  2. Receive link via email and enter new password in password change window
  3. Press password change button

Expected behaviour

Password should be changed

Actual behaviour

Nothing happens
On PC -- Firefox, on android device -- system browser (Android Webview-based).

from within your Nextcloud installation folder

Without access to your command line download the data/owncloud.db to your local
computer or access your SQL server remotely and run the select query:
SELECT * FROM `oc_appconfig` WHERE `appid` = 'user_ldap';


Eventually replace sensitive data as the name/IP-address of your LDAP server or groups.

have you tried the same process ( steps 1-2-3 ) and before relogin in, clear the cache of your browser ?

@olegkrutov could you post your logfile after such an attempt? do you use local users or from an external source?
