Per nextcloud/social#1297. Unfortunately, Nextcloud Social appears to have been abandoned, and is no longer functional. Unless someone can pick it up and maintain it, it should probably not have the "featured apps" tag.

To provide you with some more insight here. Social hasn't been abandoned but isn't a priority in this very moment. We do have this on our radar and will likely pick it up after Nextcloud 23 while of course it is open source so if anyone is willing to chip in and work on this. Please do so and we will support you the best way we can.
