Proposed functionality

I'm a little surprised that #16009 got merged.
In the FR #9386 I submitted, it was not accepted that the buttons just 'floated'. The background also had to be 'hidden' in a div, providing whitespace above/around the buttons.

I would like to see this 'floating button' concept extended to all buttons on views that go beyond a single screen.

Use case

Provide direct access to the navigation and action buttons, even if the list expands a single screen and are located at the bottom of the page.
