NOTE:
GNOME will sometimes report errors associated extensions if you manually update them via the extensions website. These errors can be resolved by restarting GNOME shell (logging out and then back in again). If it's still creating errors, then please go ahead create an issue.

Describe the bug
page shows
Your native host connector do not support following APIs: v6. Probably you should upgrade native host connector or install plugins for missing APIs. Refer documentation for instructions.

To Reproduce
I've followed instructions here to install.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
  • Extension Version: chrome-gnome-shell 10.1-5
  • GNOME Version: 42.04

Additional context

Troubleshooting here suggests:
Problem:
You are getting information message about missing "v6" api.
Resolution:
You need to update gnome-browser-connector to at least version 42.0

Where should I get "gnome-browser-connector version 42.0+" to replace "chrome-gnome-shell 10.1-5" for Ubuntu 22.04 then? 😕

This isn't an extension bug, but I can assist. The GNOME extensions page broke a while ago (or rather the gnome-browser-connector did).

I highly recommend using Extension Manager instead.

To install:

sudo flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
sudo flatpak install flathub com.mattjakeman.ExtensionManager
flatpak run com.mattjakeman.ExtensionManager

OMGUbuntu covered it here as well.

Looks like some work has gone into fixing this issue:
