actually a lot more annoying than expected. So right now the only part available to the main app (from fn update) is:

pub struct RowData {
    pub title: String,
    pub author: String,
    pub album: String,
    pub uniqueid: String,
}

Which is then used to build the RowWidget inside the fn view.

Initially, i thought to have self.table_content contain the actual widget, but then you have to somehow give it the generics it wants:

pub struct RowWidget<'a, Message, Theme, Renderer>

Which idk if that is even possible...
