Feature request from @andrei-near

  • State sync on epoch boundary breaks snapshots.
  • Our current snapshot period is 30m
  • Claim: if snapshot starts just before new epoch start, in the end node falls behind and attempts to start complete state sync
  • It lasts for 1-2 hours; during that time node is unable to provide snapshots
  • Request: could we add make the state sync horizon configurable (block_fetch_horizon?)
