We're getting more and more new users on Delta, and all-too frequently they don't actually understand that spawning dozens or hundreds of threads on the logins is destructive and bad. We've already documented that running processes on the logins is bad, but that's not sufficient, apparently. So we've instituted a process that will kill off processes that exceed certain limits. So people who are overreaching on the logins will get their processes terminated.
We need to create a page that documents what's going on, why it's necessary, and what users can do to not have their processes killed.
