Drishti-2.6.1 (Linux)
Drishti v2.6.1 Linux (compiled on Debian 7.0 using Qt 5.4.2 and libQGLViewer 2.6.2)
11/Sept/2015
Version 2.6.1
Drishti
- Fixed : Corruption of clip plane rotation angle saving and retrieval.
- Fixed : Removed lighting effects for clip and path viewports. This removes the darkening of images in viewport.
- Added : Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP) rendering option. Use Toggle menu or press "6" to toggle MIP rendering mode.
- Added : resample option for paths - add equidistant points on the path.
Drishti Import
- Fixed : VGStudioMax .vgi file importer.
- Added : Volume padding to create a specific sized bigger volume. The original volume will always be centered within the bigger volume. The option is added to give ability to create same sized volumes for timeseries data.
Drishti Paint
- Fixed : Fiber tracking.
- Added : X/Y/Z slices view for 3D viewer.
- Added : Curve dilation and erosion (Hover over curve and press "e" or "d").
- Added : Data smoothing before mesh generation.
Drishti-2.6.1 (Windows)

Drishti-2.5.1.1 (Mac OSX) works on Yosemite
An update to v2.5.1 to work correctly on Yosemite.
Drishti-2.5.1 (Linux)
Drishti v2.5.1 Linux "Universal" binary compiled on Debian 3.2.0.
25/Sept/2014
Version 2.5.1
Migration to glew-1.11.0
Drishti
- Fixed : active stereo which stopped working in 2.5 has been revived.
- Fixed : multiple volumes and timeseries which stopped working in 2.5 have been fixed.
- Fixed : different sized multiple volumes can be loaded without crash. Previous restriction of having identical grid sizes for simultaneous multiple volume exploration has been removed.
- Fixed : clipplanes displayed correctly under Brick-0 transforms. Until previous version clipplanes did not reflect Brick-0 transform correctly.
- Improved : addpathanimation
- Added : image2volume command to save the image on screen as a 3d volume. This extends the current reslice/rescale facility to reorient/resample the volume. With image2volume, you can save the effects of brick transformation and multiple volumes into a single 3d volume. For e.g. you would now be able to open up the volume (or multiple volumes) using bricks and save the result as a single volume. If you have perspective camera (which is default), you will get perspective distortion in the generated volume. So if you don't want perspective distortion, then switch to orthographic camera before giving the image2volume command.
- Added : get/save transfer funcion shape from transfer function editor. This works the same way as get/save colour-opacity gradients in transfer editor. When in the transfer function shape/spine editor, press "s" to save current transfer function shape with a name; press spacebar to load a named shape.
- Added : .stl file save option for mesh generation.
- Added : Shift+Right mouse click to change rotation pivot. Normally the rotation pivot is at the center of the volume. To change that Shift+Right mouse click on the desired point to set that point as the new rotation pivot. Rotation pivot can be on any geometry or volume. To reset the rotation pivot, Shift+Right click on empty region on screen.
