We use the downshift library in a few places to give us state management and accessibility for custom dropdowns.

There are some nicer features in newer versions, such as taking disabled state in prop getters.

Follow the downshift migration guides in order:

  1. v6 to v7
  2. src/hooks/MIGRATION_V8.md
  3. v8 to v9

⚠️ This upgrade is required in order to support a disabled Combobox
