This could be kicked off with the text from Chiedi, but ultimately is going to need to diverge. Steps to allow this to happen would be:

  • Copy existing it translation to it_IT, update the Chiedi config.yml and public body translation locale settings accordingly - could be done as part of Upgrade to 0.25 dirittodisapere-theme#103
  • Use the it translation for AskTheEU.

We have Italian contacts (incl Claudio from DDS) who can help with the translation for "EU Italian"

dependant on resolving the collation issue - can hopefully be fixed by #3683

Chiedi is now running on the it_IT locale/Transifex Italian (Italy) language (no new errors since Friday) so the it translations should be free for use by AskTheEU
