  • Make it generally possible to order lists of requests by number of followers
  • Have a page listing recent successful requests ordered by number of followers

While I get the impression following others' requests isn't a widely used feature, perhaps it would be if the effect of following was to get the request promoted and given greater visibility.

This could be a way to identify good, or notable, uses of the services.

They do this on AskTheEU.org, although I think it is all-time, rather than recent, since the requests listed are old:

It would probably better to do it with recent ones.

That reminded me that the suggestion of highlighting requests with the most followers was mentioned on an issue for improving the WhatDoTheyKnow front page:

I don't think that the current top tracked requests are ones that we'd particularly want to highlight.
