Currently users are advised to use annotations to link between related requests.

One could envisage a button for making a connected request, which automatically resulted in the requests being linked.

Related requests might be:

  • A request for a more up to date version of the same information
  • A new request based on information released on a thread, drilling down to obtain material
  • A new request for information made by someone else so that the new requester is able to challenge a refusal

Requests could be connected by tagging:

Normal, or special, annotations could connect requests:

Is this added unnecessary complexity, or a potentially powerful feature?
