Redesign authority page #1538

A user has written to us after having been looking for the way to sign up for email alerts relating to a specific body It presumably wasn't clear to them that clicking the "follow" button equates to setting up an email alert (assuming email alerts have not been turned off by the user on their "my profile" or "wall" page). I suggest we need better wording explaining what the "follow" button does. Perhaps the wording ought be different depending on if users have email alerts turned on or off. |
Today another user appears to have been looking to sign up for email alerts on activity relating to a public body and not realised the "follow" button was what they were looking for and so wrote to us. |
@RichardTaylor +1. I think in general the flow of following requests and topics could be a lot better and was highlighted in #1445. |
