Hi,

We try kanbanist for since 1 week, and we need a new feature.
We need to have a column for each person from our company. It's possible with label but we need to sort task only with assignated person. It's possible ?

And is it possible to have color by person. Each task for the x person is red.

Thanks.
Regards,

Hi @Connect-On, it sounds like you are asking for the following features:

  1. Have a unique list for each user in your team that contains tasks assigned to that user.
  2. If not (1), then allow each list to be sorted by the assignee
  3. Colour tasks by assignee.

1 is a significant amount of work and unlikely to be done in the short or medium term. There is frequently a request for lists to be Todoist projects and if that is undertaken then it may be worth considering this as well.

  1. Is relatively easy.

  2. I would need to look at the Todoist API and see if there is a colour associated with a user (or perhaps their theme) and then this could be used. Otherwise we'd need to come up with an alternative "stateless" way of determining a colour for a given user. Regardless, the only colour element at the moment is for priority but this could potentially be optional and made to be either priority or assignee.

Hi,

we have a similar request. Similar to the projects, I would like to be able to select when assigning. Instead of "Assigned to me" and "All" I would like to be able to select one or more team members (just like Lists and Projects).

Thanks
Markus
