how to update players

after the 2024.12 update all music assistant players got renamed. for example the living_room_player turned to living_room_player_2

I have a chromecast player. for long time MA named it as media_player_bose. I wanted to change the name to something meaningful so I renamed it in the google cast integration to media_player.chromecast.

Since then MA can not recognize the player. I have reboot HA and had several restarts. nothing.

The player in google cast is = media_player.chromecast

and in MA is still like the following and it is unavailable

Is there a way to "reload" players?
What should I do?

ok. I had to go to the following menu. I disabled the ha plugin. I rebooted HA. and had this in dropdown
