There is showYearSelector.

I'm talking from the users point of view . We can't change year quickly in the UI of Portrait and Landscape Dialog

@itangog Set showYearSelector = true and then click on the year of the date display. This will transition the UI to a year picker. To get back to picking days, click on the day or month of the date display.

Yes, this work. But it's not intuitive at all. Most of the users will never understand this. Moreover, it's not clear either how to go back to the date picker.

A simple DropMenu on the Calendar part would be much more clear I think

This will make the year selector in sync with the material design spec.

I am closing this for now, as the yearSelector works perfectly fine. The above listed PR will make it compatible with the material-design spec.
