I recognized that some measurements are stored according ISO-8859 coding including german special characters (Umlaute).

May proposal would be to allow only UTF-8 coding without spaces for measurements to avoid any conflicts they may occur later on.

example
measurements,WZ Süd Temperatur
measurements,Waschküche Fenster Temperatur

should be stored as
measurements,WZ_Sued_Temperatur
measurements,Waschkueche_Fenster_Temperatur

That topic is also related to issue 117 when it comes to display the measurments.
