what is needed
VSCode currently does not support ARM64 on Linux. (microsoft/vscode#6442)
However, when it does, ensure that the VSCode ROS extension supports ARM64 Linux platforms.

VSCode supports ARM64 on Windows (https://code.visualstudio.com/updates/v1_47#_stable-windows-arm-builds).
ROS on Windows ARM64 is a backlog item. Once that is further along, we will add support to the extension for ARM64 on Windows.
