Title: BadgeKit: Build
: Create distinct tools that will help anyone plan the learning/badge experience, construct a badge system, design the visual look for a badge, create its criteria, define its metadata and create related and relevant badge pathways within a system.
Note: In the vein of modularity, I see these as three separate tools:
1) visual design
2) system design
3) content design
strategize (content, visual,tech )

Open Badger
Badge Studio
Pathway Creation
Credly
Achievery
DigitalME Badge Canvas (system oriented)
Makebadg.es
Badgemaker
P2PU badge creation tool
Create 1 tool that helps anyone design the visual look of a badge, develop its criteria and define its metadata.
What needs to happen to make this? :
Write the creative brief
Define what we mean when we say metadata
Define what we mean when we say criteria
Refine the ux from badgestudio and incorporate metadata and criteria definition
figure out how to make the system more flexible (so that you can design off of more than 1 template etc) visit: https://github.com/toolness/chicago-badge-studio/issues/1
apply BadgeKit look and feel
Experience we need to support:
The issuer should be able to visually design badges.
The issuer should be able to define the metadata aligned with the open badges standard.
This includes the criteria page outlining the requirements for earning the badge.
This includes defining evidence required for earning the badge.
n.b. Keep in mind that badge issuing can be done on a number of existing platforms including Makebadges (http://www.makebadg.es/badge.html#), Achievery (http://www.achievery.com/), openbadges.me (https://www.openbadges.me/), and many more.
Create 1 tool that helps anyone plan (more than planning--rolling up your sleeves) their badge system
there are distinctions between developing a badge and developing a badge system. To me this should be two separate tools, both under Build.
Badge Links (centers relationships between badges within a badges metadata)
