I am not technical, apologies if this is badly expressed or has been covered elsewhere; I couldn't find it

If I have container 'home' and I open a never visited url, when I go into container 'work', I can see that URL with favicon in the address bar as a suggestion when I enter it

Is that expected behaviour and can I turn it off?

I would like my work container to be i can screenshare and demo without having youtube / facebook suggestions when I type in work urls
Thanks

I've got the same request. At home I enjoy visiting various social media sites (Facebook, NBA, religious, gaming sites, etc.). At work I frequently project my screen to dozens of individuals. If I start typing in web addresses or click on a "new tab", I would prefer my work tabs appear professional with no hint of personalized suggestions. It seems this extension is missing two features:

  1. URL/awesome bar history should only show suggestions related to that container, and

  2. New tab should only show suggestions related to that container (if you are in a work container, and you click on new tab, the new tab should also start up as a new work container, not as the default container).

Until then, Profile Manager is still the correct approach for me.

In order to do this, we need to separate the awesomebar/history per container. This requires work in the mozilla platform itself. And it is quite a task.
