Room UI Redesign: Spawning Chat Messages

Currently you can spawn chat messages by pressing the magic wand button in the chat bar or by clicking the magic wand button next to a chat bubble. In the redesign, we've preserved these two features, but haven't yet added the ability to chat bubbles in the chat sidebar. We should think through the use cases for spawning chat messages and how to best implement this behavior.

Some things to keep in mind:

• Spawning media messages
• Spawning emojis
• Spawning links or media using urls

We also have the place menu which can take on some of these responsibilities. We need to determine what is the best UX given the intended use cases.
