To build the tool you need to have:
- A C# compiler that supports .NET 4.0
- .NET Framework 4.0
Open the Solution (Modelica_ResultCompare.sln) in Visual Studio, build the Project in the desired configuration (Debug|Release) and run the "compare.exe" in the output dir.
The setup has been tested with: $ mono --version Mono JIT compiler version 3.12.1 (tarball Fri Mar 6 19:12:47 UTC 2015)
Install mono and git from your distributions repository. If the mono version shipped with ubuntu is too old, use this guide to receive a current version: http://www.mono-project.com/docs/getting-started/install/linux/#debian-ubuntu-and-derivatives
Tested mono version is:
$ git clone https://github.com/modelica-tools/csv-compare.git
$ cd csv-compare
$ make
After the build you can use Modelica_ResultCompare/bin/Release/Compare.exe
on Linux
A Docker image can be built as follows:
$ git clone https://github.com/modelica-tools/csv-compare.git
$ cd csv-compare
$ docker build -tag="csv-compare" .
This can then be run with the same command-line arguments as the Compare.exe application. It is required to use the -v argument for docker in order to specify volumes so that the docker container can access the files:
$ docker run -v /localdir1:/data1 -v /localdir2:/data2 csv-compare /data1 /data2
