OpenJSF Onboarding #7
Comments
Actually, another item we can discuss is giving the OJSF access to Matomo and Netlify. This will help reduce the bus factor for that bit of infrastructure. Personally, I think it's a good idea, but I'm unsure about how tightly coupled Netlify is to @Munter's account... |
I think changing netlify account is not difficult. It's a good idea. |
Sounds straight-forward. Lets get on with what we can for now. Happy to be a point-of-contact for any of the areas, although probably better suited for (a) based on my lack of experience. |
I've reached out to the JSF about the image... |
@craigtaub I'll put you down for contact a). Email address in your GitHub work? |
(Might actually need to supply more contact information, but will clarify) |
Yep that's right |
I think we're basically done here, and the ball is in OJSF's court. see https://github.com/openjs-foundation/cross-project-council/issues/267 for followups |
I probably shouldn't have closed this, since we now have action items (and will have more as the board provides us more to work with). |
FWIW the project charter was approved by the CPC back in mid-December. |
An issue has been created for OpenJSF "onboarding." Per that issue, we need to take care of a few tasks for the Foundation. Some items are currently blocked, because work needs to happen on the OJSF side before we can proceed.
As of this writing, this is what we can move forward on:
CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md
As further tasks become unblocked, we can address those.
What our goals are as a Growth-stage project, and indeed how we even go about determining them, is to-be-determined. All I know at this point is that it will involve working with the CPC in some capacity. As a voting member of the CPC, I will also have a say in what that process looks like--so if you have any ideas on how to best go about this, I can propose them to the CPC when it's appropriate.
