Hello!

I think I owe you an explanation and apologize. As you probably noticed, my activity in the last 6 months was none. Before that, I was fully committed to commercial projects and had no time to contribute to my open-source projects. There are a few reasons why I "left" for a while, unfortunately, I can't speak about them publicly. I simply lost faith, as well as I had to take a break from programming.

The latest official (not RC) version of ts-belt (v3) is production-ready. v4 needs some tweaks according to the feedback you gave (and I want to thank you for that!), although, I have used v4 successfully, primarily in React Native projects and it did the job.

At the moment I'm working on a CLI tool for React Native projects (it's huge!). Once I complete it I want to update my other open-source projects, including ts-belt.

So "what next?" you may ask. Fixing all v3/v4 bugs has the highest priority. Next, I want to add as many unit tests as possible and I also want to introduce a completely new, redesigned docs website. When? In January 2024.

Again, thank you for all your support and feedback. You're fantastic! ❤️

I just wanted to say there's no need for apologies!! Your work on this open-source library is incredible and greatly appreciated by the community. We completely understand the need for breaks and fully support you taking the time you need.

Thank you for the great work. Did you consider to support your work on this project with github sponsors? An other project I like seems to have some success with this: arktype.

It's been half a year since you said you'd come back. I wonder if you have the will to continue this project or not. If you're not able to continue this project, may I continue on this?

Thanks so much for all your work @mobily. I think this library has a lot of potential and I would love to see active development happening on it again. I am a big fan of Rescript / OCaml and would love to see their concepts continue to become a "mainstream" way to write TS.

cc @JUSTIVE I would be interested in helping in the migration to the rescript core from Belt

Can you create a fork?

I did a fork, and left some commits and so on. but I'm having trouble with build scripts. Just figured out how to do it.
