Dear Mixxx DevTeam,

First of all I would like to say thank you for developing such as amazing piece of software.

I believe I have found an issue but I am not entirely sure whether it's a bug in my controller, Traktor S4 MK3, or within Mixxx's Internal Scripting Thread.

Operating System: MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 (19H2)
CPU: 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
Your video and sound hardware: N/A
Steps to reproduce the problem: Just move two volume faders really fast on a Traktor S4 MK3 Controller

Here it is:

I have noticed that when moving two potentiometers part of the same group, for example deckA and deckB groups have a level volume control, fader pot, it causes one of the faders to jam and stutter on the UI. However this behaviour does not occur when for example one is moving rate/tempo + volume fader thought these are separate groups. Looking at what the output in the console it looks like not all the data is changing so I am confused whether this issue lies within my controller just not being fast enough or within Mixxx https://github.com/mixxxdj/mixxx/blob/main/src/controllers/hid/hidcontroller.cpp?

Hi Mixxx's Dev Team,

Could someone please have a look at this issue? I'm about to sell this controller to purchase one that's compatible with Mixxx because I really want to use Mixxx but I'd rather not sell this controller as I'm very used to it.

Could you try this with the latest build from Pull-Request: #4585

With #4585 merged, this should no longer occur with Mixxx 2.4
