Automating analytics

What

We are recording a range of data to show trends of usage across the MoJ Design System and the components within it. However, this is a very manual and inaccurate report. This work is to test whether we can automate the reporting of a single components (e.g. date picker) usage across Github and filter results to show usage in MoJ products and services.

Why

Reporting is currently manual and time intensive. The data is also inaccurate.
