Game crashes after entering a Realm

Edit: I do realize the launcher may need an update, I want to add I am not surprised by this happening, just providing the report for information

Edit 2.1: It appears to be an issue with a texture pack applied from the Marketplace. This is strange though, as the texture pack doesn't cause any issues when creating a new world. After switching the texture pack back to default, the Realm world loads without incident. Not that it matters specifically, but the texture pack in question is NEAT.

Edit 2.2: After having been able to create a world and load into this new world several times, I can no longer enter this new world after switching texture pack to default, then back to NEAT.

Edit 3: I can't create a world with the texture pack enabled now. Very strange. My guess is this is an issue with the texture pack itself missing some textures. I could create and load into the new world before but can't any longer because (I assume) initially, the missing textures weren't within the 'simulation distance'.

Edit 4: After creating several worlds, loading them, switching the texture packs back and forth between NEAT and default, loading into Realms, switching Realm worlds, changing those textures, etc. I strongly believe it's the texture pack messing things up. So if you encounter a similar problem as described here, just disable your resource packs.

Describe the bug
The game crashes after entering a Realm. Shortly before the "Building World" text appears in the window, the background changes to the black-and-pink checkered background (shown below.) This isn't normal, I have not changed this. Immediately after the text "Building World" appears in the window, the game crashes. Local worlds can be created and played without issue, however, I can't download the world from my Realm and play it offline. In doing so, the same crash occurs.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Start Launcher
2. Click Play
3. Click Play in the Minecraft window
4. Choose the Realm to enter from the world list

• The background in the window is the normal purple portals up until it begins to load the world, after which it changes to that pink-and-black checkered pattern, which isn't normal
• I can create and play on local worlds without issue
• I cannot download the realm world and play it offline (same crash occurs)
• I could play on realms up until the Minecraft 1.20.30 update

After creating several worlds, loading them, switching the texture packs back and forth between NEAT and default, loading into Realms, switching Realm worlds, changing those textures, etc. I strongly believe it's the texture pack messing things up. So if you encounter a similar problem as described here, just disable your resource packs.
