If you see the license error message of the game then the launcher does support that version.

If you don't pass the license verification of the launcher you cannot use it, this situation is interchangeable with piracy. You might need to logout from google, login again, agree a google terms of service window of the launcher and wait a minute. The license enforcement will be a lot strikter in near future.
