"Disconnected from network" after a short login to Realms

Game loads fine, able to sign-in to Google and then to Live. Realms list shows my realm but the game always disconnects from the realm after a minute or so with the error "Disconnected from server", this only happens with Realms, I am able to join servers and run about as usual!

No error seems to be logged to go with this

I can now replicate the fault on my phone and there seems to be something funky going on with my Realms subscription.
