Having datalayers as separate services allows for good composibility to services. But the deployment of these in a cohesive manner is left up to each deployment. e.g. some use k8s, some use compose etc.
There is currently no API to deploy a new datalayer and the config for it.
The question is, should there be a system level API for datahub (called something else?) that supports deploy and config of the datahub and supporting datalayers.
