  • I have searched for my issue and not found a work-in-progress/duplicate/resolved issue.
  • I have not been informed if the issue is resolved in a preview version of the winget client.

Brief description of your issue

Cemu has no start menu entry

Steps to reproduce

winget install Cemu.Cemu

Actual behavior

No start menu entry

Expected behavior

Because Cemu is a GUI application, a start menu entry should be created

Seems like this is why. microsoft/winget-cli#2299
Is using an installer the only way to get around this?

For the moment, yes.
