This issue was marked as a duplicate of: That issue hasn't been closed yet. For "side-by-side" packages, we need to check if the latest is installed, and not show it as a potential upgrade for an older version currently installed on the system. |
Brief description of your issue
Running 'winget upgrade', shows me 'Microsoft .NET SDK' and 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64)' to be upgraded.
Looking at versions already installed, the available version is already installed.
Steps to reproduce
Install several versions of the .NET SDK.
Expected behavior
The new version being already installed side-by-side, it should'nt be showned as to be upgrade.
Actual behavior
The package is always seen as to be upgraded.
