Subresults in TRX files

We have pipelines that are using the vstesttask in order to produce results and they are producing results like this (6 single results and another result which has 2 sub results):

We are switching to an environment that publishes results based on a trx file and it does not seem to be achieving the same behavior. We are getting 8 single results:

Comparing the trx files for the two, I can't see any differences. How can we get subresults to be recognized from a trx file?

I've attached the two trx files (as txt). The dtl_buildinfo is from the test run that produces 6 single results and one result with 2 sub results. The cloudtest_buildinfo produces 8 individual results.
