testing #52804:

  • in search viewlet type "hello" in replace text box.
  • in search viewlet type "12345" in replace text box.
  • use arrow-up key a few times

Observe:
the history contains entries for all intermediate versions of those strings. e.g.:

12345
1234
123
12
1
hello
hell
hel
he
h
