We, like many others have a requirement to deploy software in an enterprise environment. Our obvious choice is to use Intune as part of our Microsoft offering. Currently VS code installs into the user context and intune seems incapable of detecting applications installed into user contexts. It would make it much easier for administrators if the application could be updated on the Microsoft store to support intune deployment. Currently when we attempt to do this we get that this application is not supported in preview. Additionally applications installed from the Store via intune handle automatic updates.
