This task is to adjust the minimum JDK requirement to better support the embedded JRE in RedHat Java extension.

As far as I understand, when platform-specific Java extension is released, the minimum JDK requirement should be switched back to 1.8 right?

yes, since this JDK is only used for user's Java application, we don't limit what version it is.

  • Remove version requirement of JDKs.
  • Stop setting java.home settings and firstView settings.
